AVAILABLE SERVICES:

We offer a range of support to meet the needs of our community! Our services include:

• Food Assistance: Providing essential food items to those in need.

• Resource Information: Connecting individuals with helpful community resources.

• Spiritual Counseling: Offering guidance and support through life's challenges.

• Prayer Chain: A dedicated group praying for those in need of spiritual support.

HOW IS THE CARE CLOSET FUNDED?

The Care Closet is made possible by the generous support of our church and community. Here's how it's funded:

• Church Budget Allotment: $600 is allocated each year.

• 10% of UMO Offerings: A portion of our UMO offerings goes directly to support the Care Closet.

• First Sunday of Each Month: A special offering is collected to help fund our services.

• NAMB Hunger Fund: Provides additional support for food purchased from the Regional Food Bank.

WHAT TYPE OF DONATIONS ARE ACCEPTED?

We gratefully accept the following donations:

• Canned and Unopened Packaged Foods: Non-perishable goods like canned vegetables, beans, or soups.

• Frozen Foods and Juices: Items that can be safely stored in a freezer.

• Cash: Monetary donations are always appreciated and help us meet immediate needs.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR ASSISTANCE?

We strive to help those who need it most:

• Church Members: Assistance is available to any active member of the church.

• Low-Income Individuals: Those meeting federal and geographic guidelines for low income, residing in the 73160 or 73139 ZIP codes, are also eligible.
